Ryan Juran tossed eight innings and won his sixth game of the season as the Dukes topped Dayton, 3-1 Thursday afternoon in Ohio. The Dukes improve to 24-25-1 overall and 16-8 in Atlantic 10 play. The 16 A-10 wins is a new Duquesne record. (more)

Duquesne University senior Derek Mechling has been added to the "Watch List" for the 2008 Coleman Company - Johnny Bench Award delivered by AT&T and Papa John's Pizza, given annually to the nation's top catcher. The list was announced by the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission. (more)

Sevens were wild Tuesday evening as Duquesne's baseball team used seven pitchers and stole seven bases to secure a 7-4 win at Cleveland State. Lawrence Anderson pitched one scoreless inning to pick up his third win and Danny Brown tossed a scoreless ninth to capture his eighth save, tying a school record. (more)

The Duquesne University men's soccer team returned home this week after spending 11 days in Belgium, Germany and Holland. They participated in four competitive matches and came away with three wins and one tie. (more)
