The rifle team fell to Navy in both smallbore (4596-4551) and air rifle (1546-1482) competition at the Palmyra Invitational.

Despite the loss, the team smallbore score was a school record for Duquesne while sophomore Stephen Shanahan and senior Robert Doverspike set personal bests with scores of 1144 and 1141 respectively. Junior Adam Bester led the Red and Blue with a score of 1146.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Feb. 1 as they host Akron at 8:00 am at the Duquesne shooting range.
