Dukes Upend Fordham, 4-1

Duquesne's baseball team improved to 3-1 in Atlantic 10 play, 10-12 overall, with a 4-1 win over visiting Fordham. Due to rain early in the day, the Dukes and Rams managed just one seven-inning game and are scheduled to play a seven inning and nine inning game on Sunday at noon. The Rams are now 2-2 in league play, 5-10 overall.

Senior Jim Popp pitched his third complete game and held Fordham to just two hits while striking out five. He improves his record to 4-2 and has won his last four decisions. On offense, the Red and Blue were led by senior Chad Williams and junior Randy Vulakovich who each had two hits.
